The P-Shot®, or PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) Penile Injection

Don’t let sexual dysfunction cast a dark cloud over your life any longer. Come to Revitalize You and let us help you get back to where you want to be. We now offer the P-Shot®, or PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) Penile Injection.

Simply put, the P-shot involves harvesting the plasma-enriched growth factors in your own blood, and then injecting them into specific areas of the penis.

The process begins with drawing a small amount of blood from the arm, then spinning it in a centrifuge for about 10 minutes to separate the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from the platelet-poor plasma (PPP).

The PRP is then taken from the centrifuge and re-injected into the penis, where it stimulates blood flow and the penis becomes larger and rejuvenated. Sexual activity can be resumed about 4 hours after the procedure.

PRP therapy is one of the most advanced, effective natural treatments for cellular repair and rejuvenation throughout the body. It was initially used in wound healing, dentistry and the treatment of sports injuries, where it has shown to be extremely effective and beneficial.

PRP therapy has been extended to address sexual dysfunction, and has shown itself to be beneficial here as well. It is also effective in reducing, or in some cases, eliminating, the extreme penile curvature caused by Peyronie’s disease.

Benefits of the P-Shot®

  • Significantly firmer erections
  • Easier to achieve and maintain erections for a longer period of time
  • Increased penile overall size
  • Increased sensitivity and better overall blood flow in the penis

How Does the P-Shot® Work?

PRP contains growth factors and proteins in high concentration. When injected back into the body, they activate stems cells and stimulate cellular repair and regeneration in that area. In addition, collagen production and the formation of new blood vessels occurs to further promote tissue repair.

Are there Side Effects from the P-Shot®?

Since PRP is extracted from your own blood, there are very few potential side effects from the injection. If any, they might be minor bleeding or bruising, swelling, or very rarely, infection.

An additional procedure for maximizing the effectiveness of PRP therapy involves using a VED, or vacuum erection device (also known as a penis pump).  This should be done twice daily.
